“Painting makes me what it wants, it weaves my emotions which therefore become something other than a word”
Originally from Lille and after following training in visual arts simultaneously with 13 years of photography in vascular medicine, she moved to Normandy in 1988.
For over 30 years, Anita has been painting.
Both with her eye and her emotions, she paints, letting herself be guided by intuition and spontaneity.
A dream or an image can inspire it and it transports us to landscapes and atmospheres that liberate us and help us escape beyond the frame.
Brush in hand, she begins a dance with the support on which she works, a living object that she lets breathe through her drawings, sometimes figurative, sometimes semi-abstract.
She plays with shadows, lights and transparencies to make each of her creations vibrant and alive.
Chords that brush against each other, vibrate, collide, seduce each other: Anita projects herself and invites us on a journey.
